Reveille topper Ben Silverman has tapped Graham Larson, previously a partner with Seann William Scott at the U-based Identity Films shingle, to lead the film push.
As a TV producer, Reveille made a name for itself by reworking formats from foreign markets for the U.S. audience. Silverman said it will continue to use that approach in the film world.
"We're going to look a lot at presold titles, whether they emanate from Broadway, books or overseas," he said. "On a content level, one of the genres we're going to focus on a lot is comedy."
In addition to "Office" and "Betty," Reveille has also produced "The Biggest Loser" and "The Restaurant" for NBC; "30 Days" for FX; "House of Boateng" for the Sundance Channel; and "Blow Out" for Bravo.
Larson's producing credits include "The Last Samurai," "Gary the Tennis Coach" and "Trainwreck: My Life as an Idiot." Before Identity, he worked at Edward Zwick's Bedford Falls Co.
