Action comedy revolves around the adventures of two rich playboys -- played in the early '70s series by Tony Curtis and Roger Moore -- who mingle in exotic locales, romance women and right wrongs along the way. Curtis' character was a street-smart entrepreneur from the Bronx; Moore played a stuffy English lord.
A big fan of the original series, Amritraj saw an opportunity for a tentpole action-comedy and will produce. Granada America exec produces.
Hyde Park is in post-production on the Sandra Bullock starrer "Premonition" for Sony. Company is also in production on "Asylum," directed by David Ellis, and James Wan's "Death Sentence," both for Fox, where Hyde Park has a first-look deal.
