RDF USA's recent U.S. commissions include a $6 million-plus order from ABC for a reality skein and a $2.7 million order for an unscripted comedy from cabler A&E.
In another development, RDF is setting up a U.S.-based rights business, Pangea Management, repping U.K. producers in the U.S. market and U.S. producers in international markets.
Commenting on the results for the six months to July 31, CEO David Frank said: "Over the past 18 months we are proud to have witnessed the emergence of RDF as a dynamic media group comprising content and rights companies across the U.K. and in the U.S.
"We continue to invest in all areas of the business and believe we have laid the foundations for future growth in our existing markets and further afield."
The combo, which has recently acquired small U.K. indies including Presentable and the Comedy Unit, is eyeing possible acquisitions of producers in Germany, France, Spain and Italy as it attempts to beef up its international presence.
A new division, RDF Digital Media, is being set up as the company prepares to roll out a broadband TV service.
