The film, inspired by "The Heartbreak Kid," also stars Michelle Monaghan and Malin Akerman. Lensing is under way in San Francisco.
The Farrellys wrote the script, inspired by Neil Simon's original.
Stiller plays a man who hastily marries a young woman he thinks is his perfect mate. As he watches her turn into a nightmare on their honeymoon, he meets another woman who may be his real soulmate.
After a four-year run as senior correspondent on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show," Corddry quit his fake newsman job to concentrate on feature and TV roles.
He next stars alongside Will Ferrell and Will Arnett in the DreamWorks comedy "Blades of Glory." He's also starring in "The Winner," a Fox network midseason replacement sitcom from 20th Century Fox.
Also on Corddry's plate are Warner Bros.' "Unaccompanied Minors" and indie pics "Patriotville" and "The Ten." Thesp has also just signed to star for Paramount in "The Donor," to be produced by Jon Stewart and Ben Karlin. Corddry is writing that script with Brian Huskey and Jason Manzoukis.
