Joining Russell Crowe and Christian Bale in the remake of the 1957 Glenn Ford oater are Peter Fonda, Gretchen Mol and Dallas Roberts.
James Mangold is directing the pic and producing with his partner, Cathy Konrad.
Ben Foster ("X-Men: The Last Stand") and Vinessa Shaw ("Melinda and Melinda") also have been cast.
Lensing begins Oct. 23 in New Mexico.
Pic, which has a production budget of $50 million, is co-financed by Relativity Media.
Scripted by Stuart Beattie, Michael Brandt and Derek Haas, "Yuma" revolves around a desperado who is caught by a sheriff determined to bring the outlaw in. Sheriff's plans go awry when the desperado's accomplices stage an ambush.
Pic was originally set up at Sony but found a new home at Lionsgate, with a reduced budget, earlier this month.
Fonda next stars in Sony's "Ghost Rider" with Nicolas Cage. Mol recently starred in Picturehouse's "The Notorious Bettie Page." Roberts, who also starred in "Bettie Page," next will be seen in Fox 2000's "Flicka."
