Two-hour is one of four Roberts novel adaptations for Lifetime from exec producers Peter Guber, Stephanie Germain and Peter Strauss.
Janet Brownell wrote the teleplay for "Angels," which Ralph Hemecker will direct.
Locklear stars as a chef trying to rebuild her life in a small Wyoming town after a tragedy. When she says she's witnessed a murder, local law enforcement begin to question her sanity. Schaech plays a local who suspects someone is trying to terrorize her.
"Angels" will premiere in February alongside previously announced pics in the series "Carolina Moon," starring Claire Forlani, Oliver Hudson and Jacqueline Bisset, and "Montana Sky," starring John Corbett, Ashley Williams, Charlotte Ross and Diane Ladd. Casting is still under way for the fourth telepic, "Blue Smoke."
Lifetime ordered the series of pics to production last winter (Daily Variety, Feb. 2), with Guber's Mandalay TV and Stephanie Germain Prods. producing.
Locklear recently appeared in ABC's "Boston Legal." Her most recent feature credits include "The Perfect Man" and "Uptown Girls."
Schaech stars in "The Washingtonians," an episode in the upcoming season of Showtime's "Masters of Horror." He also wrote the script with writing partner Richard Chizmar.
