Two-hour is the second in a series of four TV movies based on Nora Roberts' bestselling novels.
Lifetime ordered the series of pics to production earlier this year (Daily Variety, Feb. 2), with Peter Guber's Mandalay Television and Stephanie Germain Prods. producing.
"Montana Sky" concerns three half sisters (Williams, Ross and Laura Mennell) who meet for the first time after their father dies, only to learn that they must live together at his Montana ranch for a year in order to receive their sizable inheritance.
Corbett will play a neighboring rancher put in charge of overseeing their operation for the year. Ladd will portray the ranch cook.
Guber, Germain and Peter Strauss are exec producers. April Smith (TNT's "Nightmares and Dreamscapes") wrote the adaptation to be directed by Mike Robe.
"Montana Sky" will premiere in February. Roberts made-fors "Blue Smoke" and "Angels Fall" are in pre-production also for a February bow. First of the pics, "Carolina Moon," just wrapped.
