Stone unturned

'WTC' helmer considering a more controversial follow-up

The muzzle is off.

No one could quite believe how primly and properly Oliver Stone presented his down-the-middle "World Trade Center."

Where was Stone's famous bravado? His divisive political theories?

Don't worry. The real Oliver Stone turned up in Russia last week during a publicity stop for "WTC."

Per wire reports, Stone said he would consider making a more controversial follow-up investigating some of the conspiracy theories surrounding 9/11 and its aftermath.

"There is a great story to be told in a movie, a conspiracy by a group of people in the American administration who have an agenda and who used 9/11 to further that agenda," Stone said.

The helmer also used the press confab -- held on the fifth anni of 9/11 -- to criticize President Bush for bungling the hunt for Osama Bin Laden.
