Hush-hush fundraiser features Spacey as MC

TORONTO -- While there are plenty of star-studded galas, dinner and cocktail parties at the Toronto film fest this week, one of the hottest tickets didn't appear on any public list of events: a Saturday night bash being billed as a birthday party for former President Bill Clinton.

Event, which takes place at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, will raise money for the William J. Clinton Foundation, and will feature Kevin Spacey as master of ceremonies and Paul Shaffer as musical director.

Other celebs expected to appear include Billy Crystal, Sarah McLachlan, Jon Bon Jovi, Tim McGraw and James Taylor.

Clinton Foundation, which the former president started after leaving office, targets such issues as HIV/AIDS, global warming and child obesity.
