Road B.O. dips for 11-show slate

Road grosses

NEW YORK -- Road grosses increased in Week 13 (Aug. 21-27) as the eight-show slate gained 3.75% to $8,916,252.

"Monty Python's Spamalot" reported the highest gross in its history this week with $1,319,042 in Toronto.

Tempe, Ariz., proved fruitful for the first company tour of "Wicked." The show grossed $1,279,752, a house record.

"The Phantom of the Opera" in Vancouver was the highest-grossing show with $1,394,987.
