Ballots for feature film nominations will be mailed to Directors Guild of America members on Dec. 4 and must be returned by Jan. 8. The five nominees will be announced the next day, after which final ballots will be sent out, to be returned by Feb. 2.
Entry forms for television, commercials and documentary directors will be mailed Oct. 2 and must be returned by Nov. 30. Final TV ballots will be sent out the following week and must be returned by Jan. 4. Nominees will be announced shortly thereafter.
The DGA will announce the recipient of its honorary lifetime membership award on Dec. 6 and name its special achievement award winners one week later.
