Andrew Llyod Webber's Really Useful Group has inked a deal with Universal Music, giving U worldwide digital and mobile rights to the Lloyd Webber showtune catalog.
Previously, Lloyd Webber hits such as "The Phantom of the Opera" theme or "Memory" from the musical "Cats" could only be downloaded as ringtones illegally.
It's not the first time showtunes have gone ringtone. Yahoo sells "If You Were Gay" from "Avenue Q," "If I Only Had a Brain" from "The Wizard of Oz" and "Aquarius" from "Hair."
On more obscure Web sites you'll even find "Springtime for Hitler" from "The Producers."
