BBC pumps for Asia expansion

BBC Worldwide looks set to roll out more channels for Asia, having beefed up its Global Channels team in Singapore.

Four new appointments report to Christine Leo-McKerrow, newly promoted senior veep, BBC Global Channels Asia.

Jude Davidson becomes director of marketing and communications, while pay TV veteran Monty Ghai joins as director of network development, responsible for growing revenue lines for the channels group in Asia.

ormer BBC Worldwide exec Keith Mak has been tapped manager, affiliate sales. Creative director Garry Sinclair is will create the on-air look for the BBC's branded channels in Asia.
