Brian Murray, Paul Hecht, Peter Gerety and Euan Morton round out the voice talent on the toon, which follows a 14-year friendship between Ackerley and his German Shepherd, Tulip, after the scribe rescued the dog.
Norman Twain, Howard Kaminsky and Frank Pellegrino are producing the pic, which will have an adult sensibility.
Paul Fierlinger and Sandra Fierlinger (PBS' "A Room Nearby" and "Still Life With Animated Dogs") are animating.
Voice recording begins this month, with animation to follow.

Indie pic is targeted to wrap in December 2007.
