After recent reports that U.K. helmer Roger Michell ("Changing Lanes," "Notting Hill") was in talks to helm the next 007 pic, the negotiations have fallen through due to "creative differences," according to people close to the talks.
Pic, which has a working title of "Bond 22," will follow "Casino Royale," which Sony is releasing this fall, and will also star Daniel Craig, who's debuting as Bond in "Casino."
With or without Michell, "Bond 22" is heating up -- pic already has a release date of May 2, 2008.
