Guatemala takes the fifth

World Brief

Free-to-air TV channel Latitud Television (Canal 31) bowed in Guatemala in July.

It goes up against rival national broadcasters Canal 3, Canal 7, Canal Once and Trecevision. It will also be available on some cable platforms. Latitud Television is aimed at a general audience and includes telenovelas, yakkers, toons, news, sports and films.
