Nickelodeon is getting into business with "thirtysomething" star Polly Draper.

Kids cabler has greenlit 13 episodes of Draper's half-hour comedy "The Naked Brothers Band," which she will exec produce, write and direct.

Series stars her sons Nat Wolff, 11, and Alex Wolff, 8, as prepubescent music superstars who balance the pains of growing up with the perks and problems of celebrity.

Skein is slated to premiere in January.

"The Naked Brothers Band" will "make you laugh but is intimate and genuine in its approach to dealing with everyday kid issues through the larger-than-life story of kid rock stardom," said Marjorie Cohn, Nickelodeon's exec VP of development and original programming.

Program will kick off with a 90-minute original movie featuring appearances by Uma Thurman, Julianne Moore, Ann Curry, Arsenio Hall, Cyndi Lauper, Tony Shalhoub and the cast of "thirtysomething." Weekly episodes thereafter will offer cameos from VJ Matt Pinfield and George Lopez.

The Wolff brothers will write and perform all of the show's music. Michael Wolff, Draper's husband and father to Nat and Alex, will star as the tweens' musically inept dad. He'll also co-exec produce and serve as music producer.

Former Nick exec Albie Hecht will exec produce with Draper in association with Nickelodeon Television.

On the acting side, Draper's feature credits include "The Pickup Artist," "Making Mr. Right" and "Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain."
