Traverse City, Michigan may be well off the fest circuit, but the town's second annual film fest has racked up plenty of ticket sales thanks to Michael Moore.

The fest, which runs July 31-Aug. 6, was established last year by the helmer, author Doug Stanton and photographer John Robert Williams to showcase smaller pics.

The hot ticket so far this year: Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth," which sold out two screenings and added a third. This year's event also honors Stanley Kubrick, whom Moore credits with inspiring his desire to pursue filmmaking.
