E! clicks with iTunes

Net takes bite of Apple

E! Entertainment Television finally has hooked up with Apple's iTunes.

Cabler announced Thursday that it will offer new episodes of its top-rated series for download at the online musicstore.

Second season of "Girls Next Door," which premieres July 30, as well as fresh episodes of "The Soup," "Dr. 90210" and "The Simple Life" will be available the day after broadcast at the standard $1.99 a pop.

Partnership is not the first E! has struck with an online service. In March, the channel teamed with viral video Web site YouTube to recruit user-generated content for exposure during "The Soup" and on its broadband network the Vine.
