Composers Lab fellows include Terry Dame, Viktor Krauss, Jessica Lurie, Craig Richey, Hahn Rowe and Martin St-Pierre.
During the two-week lab, fellows participate in workshops and creative exercises under the guidance of film composers and film music professionals.
Creative advisers include film composers Terence Blanchard, George S. Clinton, Laura Karpman, Thomas Newman, Edward Shearmur and Alex Wurman; director Ron Shelton; New Line music prexy Paul Broucek; music supervisor Tracy McKnight; film music agent Robert Messinger; percussionist Steven Schick; music editor Adam Smalley; and BMI's VP of film/TV relations Doreen Ringer Ross.
Lab participants also collaborate with filmmakers from the Sundance Institute Feature Film Program as well as the Sundance Documentary Program to explore the process of writing music for film and to create accompanying scores for scenes shot by the directing fellows during the Institute's Directors Lab.
