Thomas Perry novel follows a female serial killer who changes her identity every time she commits a murder. Hot on her trail is a female police detective. By the end of the story, the two women grow close in proximity as well as identity.
Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, who teamed to write "Transformers" for DreamWorks and Paramount, are producing with Original Film's Neal Moritz and Toby Jaffe. Pete Chiarelli and Bob Wunch exec produce. Chiarelli works at shingle Kurtzman/Orci Prods., which has a first-look deal at DreamWorks.
Kruger is at work on "Torso" for Paramount Pictures and producer Bill Mechanic, with David Fincher in line to direct. His other writing credits include "The Skeleton Key," "The Ring" franchise and "The Talisman."
