The untitled T.I. used car project is the first for the film division of T.I. and Geter's company Grand Hustle Entertainment.
"For Sale" is set at an Atlanta used-car lot considered the last place in town a car would go; T.I. would play one of the salesmen. New Line production prexy Toby Emmerich immediately snapped up the pitch.
Emmerich, Sam Brown and Jeff Katz will oversee the project for New Line.
T.I., whose real name is Tip Harris, made his acting debut in "ATL."
Grand Hustle began life in 2001 in Atlanta as a record label. After issuing three compilations, T.I. and Geter inked a distribution deal with Atlantic Records. Label released the "Hustle & Flow" soundtrack last year.
T.I., who recently won the BET Award for male hip-hop artist, is featured on "Shoulder Lean," the debut single from Young Dro. Single is No. 2 on urban radio.
T.I.'s most recent album, "The King," posted the biggest first-week sales of any Atlantic release in SoundScan's 15-year history.
