WB gives it the 'College' try

Thune enrolls at Warners

Warner Bros. Pictures has bought Nick Thune's comedy pitch "Community College" and set it up with 3 Arts Entertainment to produce. Thune also will star.

Story revolves around two 25-year-old slackers who are seven years into their two-year degree. Thune will co-write with Kevin and Kyle Flynn.

Producers are Dave Becky and Michael Rotenberg. Both are from 3 Arts, which manages Thune.

Thune has nabbed a number of film roles since appearing at the Aspen Comedy Festival earlier this year. He'll be seen in three upcoming WB pics: Paul Feig's "Unaccompanied Minors," "License to Wed" and "Spring Breakdown." He also has a role in Judd Apatow's "Knocked Up" for Universal.
