The fest, which long unspooled in October with the Tokyo Intl. Film Festival, is going on what fest rep Yusuke Muramoto described as "a temporary suspension ... to reassess the festival's purpose and goals."
A pioneer in its category, the fest screened an eclectic mix of foreign and domestic fantasy, horror and action films. Last year's edition offered 18 features and three shorts, including Francis Ford Coppola's exec-produced "The 4400."
