GSN keeps tabs on Bonaduce

'Starface' follows 'Chain Reaction' in August

Danny Bonaduce, a celeb who knows a thing or two about the seedy side of celebrity, has been tapped to host a new gamer all about that tabloid world for cabler GSN.

"Starface" will follow three contestants as they're asked questions about famous and infamous names in the news. In one round, the players actually don masks of celebrities and must answer questions in the first person, as if they are actually the person in question.

Contestants are eliminated round by round, until the final player answers either-or questions about one of two celebs. Grand prize -- if the winner answers 10 questions in 60 seconds -- is a trip for two.

Jeff Rothberg created "Starface," and will exec produce with Pat Finn (through his Rubicon Entertainment production shingle) and Brennan Huntington.

Show will air at 9:30 p.m. (behind another new entry, "Chain Reaction") from Tuesday through Saturday starting Aug. 1.

"Danny Bonaduce is the perfect celebrity host," GSN prexy/CEO Rich Cronin said. "He knows pop culture inside out, he has lived the tabloid celebrity life, and his ad libs are hilarious."
