MTV links up local students on 'Meet'

Global show to go local in four key markets

SINGAPORE -- China, South Korea, India and Australia will all get local episodes of new reality show "MTV Meet or Delete," in which college students size each other up based on the contents of their PC hard drives.

Show was developed by MTV globally in collaboration with Hewlett Packard as part of its PC marketing campaign.

Profiles of successful candidates for the local versions will be online, while first episodes preem on MTV channels regionwide between today and July 10.

MTV programming is available to 218 million TV households in China, India, South Korea and Australia.
