Thesps are set to topline gal comedy "Spring Breakdown," which Code is producing for the studio. Poehler and Dratch both star on "Saturday Night Live."
Ryan Shiraki will direct "Spring Breakdown" from a script he developed with Dratch in their first collaboration. Film is a follow-up to his feature directorial debut "Freshman Orientation."
Pic is skedded to start lensing early next month in Los Angeles.
Storyline revolves around three thirtysomething friends who break the monotony of their uninspired lives by vacationing on an island that's a popular spring break getaway for college co-eds. One of the women works for a powerful senator whose daughter is one of those co-eds, only she's as geeky as her chaperones.
Producers are Code Entertainment's Larry Kennar and Rick Berg. Shiraki and Dratch are exec producing with Michael Rachmil.
Poehler next will been seen in DreamWorks' "Blades of Glory." She is the co-anchor of "Weekend Update" on SNL and a member of comedy group the Upright Citizens Brigade.
Dratch, who will be seen later this month in Sony comedy "Click," stars in Tina Fey's upcoming sitcom "30 Rock," which will air on NBC.
Posey stars in Warners' upcoming "Superman Returns," as well as Christopher Guest's next pic, awards farce "For Your Consideration."
