Eye buys big
Cannes Brief

Artificial Eye has come back from Cannes with a bounty of new titles.

The U.K. arthouse distrib, recently bought by Act Entertainment Group, has picked up the rights to Turkish helmer Nuri Bilge Ceylan's "Climates," Abderrahmane Sissako's "Bamako," Paolo Sorrentino's "The Family Friend" and Dennis Dercourt's "The Page Turner." They join Aki Kaurismaki's "Lights in the Dusk," a pre-Cannes pickup.
