'Affair' flair for New Line

Parker joins the 'Family'

New Line has bought "A Family Affair," a comedy spec to which Sarah Jessica Parker is attached.

Script was written by Sahara Lotti, with Jennifer Klein producing through her Apartment 3B banner.

Parker would play a real estate agent who has a one-night stand with a distinguished older man. After becoming engaged to someone else and heading off to meet her fiance's family, she discovers her future father-in-law was her bedmate.

Lotti most recently sold the pitch "Back Magick" to Fox.

With John Davis, Klein also is producing "Selling Time," a Fox film Spike Lee is rewriting to direct, as well as the Sheldon Turner-scripted Fox drama "Two Minutes to Midnight," which Adrian Lyne will direct.
