Ninth edition of the fest, which runs June 17-25, also boasts a panorama section, the Jin Jue Film Forum and the Intl. Film & TV Market.
Other jury members include helmers Stanley Kwan, Feng Xiaogang, Manuel Gutierrez Aragon, Kyung-Taek Kwak and Gabriele Salvatores; U.K. producer Duncan Kenworthy; and thesps Diana Bracho and Xu Jinglei.
Thesps skedded to appear at the fest include Edward Norton, Catherine Deneuve, Andie MacDowell, Sigourney Weaver, Natasha Richardson and Liam Neeson.
Keen to underline fest's international dimension, organizers said that by the end of April, entries for 682 pics from 52 countries had been submitted -- a rise of 200 from the same period last year.
