A&E Television Networks has upped Michael Feeney to senior VP of corporate communications and hired Dan Silberman as senior director of publicity for the A&E net.

Feeney will report directly to AETN prexy-CEO Abbe Raven; Silberman will report to A&E exec VP-general manager Bob DeBitetto.

Feeney will oversee all communications and strategic planning for AETN's suite of channels, including A&E, the History Channel and Biography Channel, in addition to corporate, ad and affiliate sales, international, enterprises and digital media. Exec will also be responsible for the corporate events department.

Silberman joins A&E from Bravo, where he last served as a director.�For A&E, he will direct PR efforts for the cabler's original and off-net series, original movies and specials and the Biography web.

As VP, Feeney had oversight of all press and publicity for A&E and Biography. Previously, he held positions at History and NBC.
