De Line will produce the live-action feature with Denise Di Novi, who has been developing the comedy project for well over a decade, working with a string of writers.
Storyline will be based on the popular animated Hanna-Barbera TV show, which revolved around the travails of George Jetson, wife Jane, daughter Judy, son Elroy and their dog, Astro.
Universal released an animated feature adaptation in 1990. "Jetsons: The Movie," produced by Hanna-Barbera, took in $20.3 million domestically.
De Line, who came to the Warners lot last year, is developing several other comedies for the studio, as well as spy thriller "Penetration" in conjunction with Scott Free.
Most recently, Goldberg did a rewrite of Fox Atomic's "Revenge of the Nerds" redo and penned "Fanboys" for the Weinstein Co. He was a writer on CBS' "Still Standing" for four years.
Di Novi's upcoming productions for Warners include director Curtis Hanson's gambling drama "Lucky You." Past credits include "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" and "A Walk to Remember."
