Road grosses

NEW YORK -- Road grosses dropped in Week 47 (April 17 - 23), as the 11-show slate fell 10.32% to total $9,736,621.

The Boston run of "Wicked" continued a flying start, beating its own house record set last week with $1,548,914. The Chicago tour customarily broke the million mark, reaching $1,181,270.

It was a quieter week elsewhere, with only "Mamma Mia!" ($1,034,425) and "The Lion King" in San Antonio joining the "Wicked" club ($1,060,195).
