D'Works 'Itch' tickles star

Stiller to reteam with Farrellys for 'Seven'

Ben Stiller will reteam with "There's Something About Mary" directors the Farrellys to topline "Seven Day Itch," a loose remake of "The Heartbreak Kid" that is set up at DreamWorks.

Stiller is in final negotiations to star as a man who hastily weds a woman he thinks is perfect -- until he falls in love with another while on his honeymoon.

Project is a loosely inspired remake of the 1972 pic penned by Neil Simon and helmed by Elaine May.

Bradley Thomas, the Farrellys' producing partner at their Conundrum Entertainment, is producing along with Radar Pictures' Ted Field. John Davis and Radar's Joe Rosenberg will take exec producer credits.

Peter and Bobby Farrelly are also attached to direct a redo of the French laffer "The Valet" for DreamWorks.

Stiller is shooting "Night at the Museum" for 20th Century Fox. Following that, he will segue to Fox's "Used Guys."
