A fall start date is being eyed.
Jerrold Brown script follows a man who sets out on a solo hunting expedition in the middle of winter and severely injures his leg. He is rescued by a mysterious trapper with secretly sinister intentions.
Sobini's Mark Amin, Robin Schorr and Cami Winikoff are producing. Gina Marcheschi, Dave Brown and David Levine exec produce.
Fishburne will next be seen in Lionsgate's "Akeelah and the Bee," which opens this weekend. He's also directing and starring in Warner Bros.' "The Alchemist," based on the bestselling novel by Paulo Coelho.
He'll be onstage at L.A.'s Mark Taper Forum in Alfred Uhry's "Without Walls" from June 1-July 16.
Marsh directed ThinkFilm's "The King," starring Gael Garcia Bernal and William Hurt. Pic preemed at last year's Cannes Film Festival.
Sobini's next release is "Peaceful Warrior," directed by Victor Salva for Lionsgate, where Sobini has a first-look deal. Pic is an adaptation of Dan Millman's book "Way of the Peaceful Warrior."
