'Women' come home on DVD

Wasserstein, McDonald, Allen included on disc

Interviews with the late Wendy Wasserstein, Audra McDonald and Joan Allen are among segments preserved on the new DVD of "Women in Theater," the CUNY-TV series featuring prominent distaff legiters.

Hosted by Newsday critic Linda Winer, the 13 conversations on the DVD set were culled from the four years the series has been on the air. Show is produced by the League of Professional Theater Women and City University TV.
