Program was launched in 2002 with the aim of developing scripts that include scientific and technological themes.
Sloan and Tribeca will bring on renowned scientists to consult on script content on each writer's project.
Lonergan's script is an adaptation of legit project "The Starry Messenger," skedded to make its Broadway bow in a year.
Zeff's script is dubbed "Project Mustard," a comic imagining of what would have happened had the British entered the 1960s space race.
Perlman's project, "Challenger," examines the role that Nobel Laureate Richard Feynman played in the investigation into the 1986 explosion of the space shuttle.
During the Tribeca Film Festival, which runs April 25-May 7, the writers' projects will be performed in scene readings by actors including Matthew Broderick, Judd Hirsch and J. Smith-Cameron.
Tribeca also said Tuesday that Morgan Freeman has joined its panel series to discuss his involvement in ClickStar, a new digital distribution venture.
Also joining the panel series will be Cuba Gooding Jr., helmer Todd Phillips and Time managing editor Jim Kelly.
