Tamblyn
Beth Schacter will direct her script "Normal Adolescent Behavior" for New Line, with Amber Tamblyn in final negotiations to star in the darkly comic look at sexual politics among precocious and privileged teenagers.
Brad Wyman ("Monster") will produce. New Line plans to release "Behavior" -- expected to shoot in late spring and early summer -- as a negative pickup.
Alwyn Kushner and Pilar DeMann also are producing while Donald Kushner and Freddy DeMann are exec producing.
Schacter penned the script as part of the IFP/LA screenwriters' lab in 2004. Schacter's also a theater director and producer whose credits include "Brave New World" on Broadway.
Tamblyn is lensing the lead role in "The Grudge 2" in Japan. Other credits include "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" and the TV skein "Joan of Arcadia."
