Ken Kwapis is directing the pic, co-financed by Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Pictures.
Story revolves around a young couple whose wedding plans are interrupted when the pushy minister (Williams) of the bride's family church orders the pair to complete a two-week prenup course. They must pass the class if they want to marry in his church. The groom fails the course and loses the girl but fights to win her back.
Pic will be produced by Mike Medavoy and Arnold Messer of Phoenix Pictures, Robert Simonds and Nick Osborne. Trevor Engelson is co-producing. Script was penned by Kim Barker and rewritten by Dan Fogelman and Roger Kumble.
Williams, who just wrapped the Barry Levinson-directed "Man of the Year," is filming "Night at the Museum" for helmer Shawn Levy. He'll be seen on the bigscreen next month in "R.V."
Moore stars in the upcoming "American Dreamz" from director Paul Weitz and the Richard Kelly-directed "Southland Tales." She's shooting director Justin Theroux's "Dedication" for Plum Pictures.
