Infinity, headed by producer William Vince, produced "Capote."
First project under the nonexclusive deal is sci-fi thriller "Push," based on David Bourla's script.
Story revolves around a group of American ex-pats with telekinetic and clairvoyant abilities who are hiding out in Beijing from U.S. intelligence agencies. In an attempt to escape detection forever, they marshal their various abilities and band together for one last assignment.
Film, currently in the packaging stage, is tentatively skedded to shoot in China in 2007.
Icon and Infinity already were acquainted. Along with Pierce Brosnan's production company Irish Dreamtime, the two are producing helmer Mike Barker's "Butterfly on a Wheel," a psychological thriller starring Brosnan, Maria Bello and Gerard Butler. Pic, from a screenplay by William Morrissey, is shooting in Vancouver and Chicago.
Infinity development exec Dorian Issock will oversee the search for the two other projects to be co-produced with Icon.
