Cartoon net to get 'Fantastic' skein

A co-production of Marvel Studios and the French animation company Moonscoop, "Fantastic Four" will premiere as a weekly series on Cartoon in the fall. Cartoon has commissioned 26 episodes of the series, which is aimed at 6- to 11-year-olds.
Michael Helfant, president/chief operating officer of Marvel Studios, said "Fantastic Four" will run on Cartoon Network's spinoff channels throughout the world. Twentieth Century Fox is planning a sequel to the live-action "Fantastic Four," which grossed $155 million in U.S. theaters last summer.
Avi Avad cq is exec producer of the animated "Fantastic Four" for Marvel. The exec producers for Moonscoop are Christophe Di Sabatino, the company's president, and senior VP Nicholas Atlan.
