Meredith Vieira will emcee the 33rd annual Creative Arts Daytime Emmy Awards in Gotham on April 22.

At the ceremony, Daytime Emmy Awards will be presented in technical categories such as directing in a talkshow, casting director for a drama series, art direction and writing in a children's series.

Carroll Spinney, the puppeteer who has played Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch on Sesame Street since 1969, will receive a lifetime achievement award.

Vieira, host of "The View" and "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," was nominated for three Emmys this year for talkshow host, gameshow host and as a co-producer of "Millionaire."

The Daytime Emmys, honoring individual performances and programs, will be presented April 28 at Hollywood's Kodak Theater. Kudos will mark the first time the Daytime Emmys will be broadcast from Hollywood in their 33-year history.
