Dakota Fanning will receive ShoWest's kudo for supporting actress of the year at the exhib confab's closing banquet Thursday.
Fanning, 12, will next be seen in Paramount and Walden Media's live-action version of "Charlotte's Web," currently skedded for a December bow.
After her breakout role in 2001's "I Am Sam" with Sean Penn, Fanning starred opposite Denzel Washington in 2004's "Man on Fire" and with Tom Cruise in "War of the Worlds."
