Tentatively titled project centers on a man who figures out the solution to his troubles at work by consulting his 6-year-old daughter and the imaginary world she has created. Story was inspired by Solomon's own family life, including a comment made by his son that later helped in a business dealing as well as the intricate fantasy life created by his daughter.
Di Bonaventura will produce, with Par co-prexy of production Brad Weston overseeing along with exec Dan Levine and newly installed exec Ben Cosgrove.
Solomon and Matheson previously teamed on the cult comedy hit "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" and its sequel, "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey." Solomon is currently working on Sony's "Tokyo Suckerpunch," which Tobey Maguire is onboard to star in and produce along with partner Mark Ross and Doug Wick and Lucy Fisher. Matheson also penned the comedy "Mr. Wrong."
Di Bonaventura is currently shepherding the Matthew Vaughn pic "Stardust," which shoots next month.
