Cabler has ordered up 14 new episodes but has not yet decided when the show will return.
For the past seven weeks, skein has ranked as the No. 1 cable show in adults 18-49 on Wednesday night. Most recent episode drew 1.8 million total viewers, 1.3 million in 18-49.
Finale airs Wednesday at 10 p.m. followed by the premiere of cooking competish "Top Chef."
The Weinstein Co. and Miramax are co-producing "Runway" through the companies' co-financing agreement; TWC will handle worldwide distribution. Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, Heidi Klum, Desiree Gruber and Jane Cha exec produce.
