Warner Bros. Pictures has bought a pitch for an untitled supernatural thriller from writing duo Richard Potter -- a former Dimension exec -- and Matthew Stravitz for Mosaic Media to produce.
WB and Mosaic are keeping the logline under tight wraps, except to say the story is inspired by actual events.
Producers are Mosaic Media's Charles Roven and Alex Gartner.
Warners senior VP of production Greg Silverman and creative exec Sarah Schechter will oversee for the studio. Gloria Fan oversees at Mosaic.
Potter ankled Dimension in 2000 to write. While at the genre label, he oversaw projects including "Scream," "Teaching Mrs. Tingle" and "Hellraiser: Bloodline."
Potter only recently teamed with Stravitz. Preemptive purchase of the untitled pitch marks their first studio sale.
