New season starts June 12

'Hell's Kitchen'

Fox will bow the second season of 'Hell's Kitchen' on June 12 as part of its summer programming strategy.

Fox has scheduled the first item on its summer menu, heading straight to "Hell's Kitchen" for a second helping this June.

Show will air Mondays at 9 p.m. starting June 12. Temperamental chef Gordon Ramsay returns to put 12 more wannabe chefs through the grinder.

Winner of "Hell's Kitchen" season two will be named executive chef at one of the fine-dining restaurants at the new Red Rock Casino Resort Spa in Las Vegas, slated to open April 18.

The last standing "Hell's Kitchen" chef may also receive a financial stake in the eatery and help design its look.

Series, shot at the onetime studios of KCOP-TV on La Brea Avenue, comes from Granada Entertainment and A. Smith & Co. Paul Jackson, Arthur Smith, Kent Weed and Layla Sabih exec produce.

Fox is still in the early stages of putting together its summer programming lineup, which will also include the return of another reality entry, "So You Think You Can Dance."
