Tube faves fuel fest

MTR series kicks off with 'Anatomy'

'Grey's Anatomy'

'Grey's Anatomy' will be feted tonight at the start of the Paley TV Festival.

The Museum of Television and Radio's 23rd annual William S. Paley Television Festival kicks off Tuesday night by showcasing the ABC hit "Grey's Anatomy."

The panel, held at the Directors Guild of America Theatre Complex, will include a Q&A with creator Shonda Rhimes and stars including Ellen Pompeo, Sandra Oh and Patrick Dempsey.

This year's fest, held through March 15, will include a reunion of "The Golden Girls" stars and producers, as well as an evening with thesp Sally Field.

But unlike past Paley fests, which tend to mix panels on current series with past faves, this time out the focus is on the new. Sessions will include evenings devoted to dramas "House," "Medium," "Supernatural" and "Battlestar Galactica."

Comedies feted include "Entourage," "Everybody Hates Chris," "My Name is Earl," "Family Guy," "How I Met Your Mother" and "Weeds."

Other stars and producers set to attend the evenings include Chris Rock ("Everybody Hates Chris"), Edward James Olmos ("Battlestar"), Patricia Arquette ("Medium"), Jason Lee ("Earl"), Hugh Laurie ("House"), Seth MacFarlane ("Family Guy"), Alyson Hannigan ("Mother") and Mary-Louise Parker ("Weeds").

The MTR launched the Paley Festival in 1984 and records all sessions for later viewing at the museum.
