Latest 'Potter' joins $600 mil club

'Goblet' was highest foreign grosser released in 2005

Warner Bros.' "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" has become the fifth pic of all time to cross the $600 million mark in international grosses.

"Goblet," released in November, joins a club headed by "Titanic" with $1.2 billion in offshore box office, followed by "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" at $750 million, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" at $657 million and "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" with $616 million. "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" grossed $545 million overseas.

The fourth Potter pic has grossed $91 million in Japan, $84 million in the United Kingdom, $62 million in Germany, $55 million France, $26 million in Australia, $23 million in Spain and $21 million in Mexico.

"Goblet" was by far the highest foreign grosser released in 2005 with "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" nearing $380 million overseas.
