Elvis Costello and pianist-composer-producer Allen Toussaint will bring their New Orleans-flavored band to the Hollywood Bowl as part of the Playboy Jazz Festival on June 18, a day that will feature several musicians from the Big Easy.

Costello and Toussaint will be appearing in support of their collaboration "The River in Reverse," which includes new songs co-written by the duo, as well as new versions of several vintage Toussaint songs. It will be released in May.

Headlining on Costello's day will be the McCoy Tyner Trio performing with the Lula Washington Dance Theater. Headlining June 17 will be the Stanley Clarke-George Duke Project and the Branford Marsalis Quartet. The funk rock-oriented Clarke-Duke Project made two albums in the early 1980s and this year marks the 25th anniversary of the first one.

The Saturday lineup will also include pianist-singer Jamie Cullum; the Benny Golson Quartet; bassist Ron Carter's Golden Striker Trio with Russell Malone and Mulgrew Miller; the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, with vibist Stefon Harris doing a tribute to Milt Jackson; Senegalese singer Baaba Maal; the Spanish Harlem Orchestra; pianist Hiromi; the Cos of Good Music, featuring "Tonight Show" guitarist Kevin Eubanks; and the High School for the Arts Jazz Band.

Sunday's show will include Groovin' for Grover featuring Gerald Albright, Kirk Whalum and Jeff Lorber; Ozomatli; Eddie Palmieri's Afro-Caribbean band with violinist Regina Carter and saxophonist David Sanchez; Chuck Mangione; the Preservation Hall Jazz Band; teen pianist Eldar; New Orleans trumpeter Christian Scott; and bassist Lisa Terry.

Bill Cosby will be the emcee.
